Walks in the Forest of Dean area

A wide range of walking routes from the doorstep as well as further afield. Parts of the Offa’s Dyke Path, Gloucestershire Way and Monmouthshire Way are nearby. We have a range of OS maps you can borrow as well as routes we have walked provided via a link once you book. From our doorstep you can walk in three counties, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. The iconic Symonds Yat viewpoint is walking distance along quiet lanes or on footpaths from the doorstep. In fact, many of our previous guests, have not used their car for a weekend break just exploring this area on foot from our doorstep.
